There are many ways of marking metal but this system could provide the very best option for a whole host of reasons!
This is a Fiber laser which means it benefits from a beam running at the same frequency as a YAG laser. YAG lasers traditionally use a 'Galvo' head to steer a laser beam around a relatively small working area typically up to 200mm square, this FiberMark laser works over an area 609mm x 305mm!
The Fiber laser also benefits from highly extended service intervals.
Fiber lasers will also mark other materials such as plastics and ceramics.
