Software   Our Exclusive Colorbyte Graphics Software Color Byte Foundation and Color Byte Pro as well as our Version Upgrade and License Upgrade Packages. Optional additions are available for each package.   Resolution Enhancement for Text and Graphics Color byte utilizes an anti-aliasing process to smooth out the edges of text and graphics alike. This allows the user to print text when it is saved or converted to curves with amazing clarity and drastically diminish if not totally eliminate the need to "clean up" scanned in logos.   Automatic Merging of Names to a Common Graphic The "Badges" feature in color byte enables the operator to either use a text file of names or the "Text Substitution" window in the "Badges" feature to list numerous names and combine them with common graphics or logos to create a file that offers automated "hands free" printing capabilities.   Saving of Driver Settings With Each Individual File All of the settings in Direct Color Systems Millennium printer drivers are saved with each individual color byte file after you print to the printer. Once you have the optimum settings decided upon for a particular job or customer sample, they will always be there simply by opening the file.   User Defined Preset Driver Settings You have the capability to determine your own driver presets and label them. After selecting those settings which best suit your needs in the MILLENNIUM then return to the Printing window in color byte and go to Printing Preferences, click on Make Preset and give your designated preset a name that is quickly remembered. You now have a preset that can be used over and over again with out having to go into the driver each and every time to ensure you have all of the settings input correctly.   Color Matching You have the capability to simplify color matching to PMS approximate equivalents. Since you are utilizing a process color application rather than the mixing of liquid inks, there are some limitations to the colors you can achieve. However, the color swatches file contained in color byte gives you the capability to zero in to the closest match attainable without extensive trial and error.
