Identify works at the leading edge of printing technology.
Technology, that allows many alternative methods of creating colourful images on rigid materials.

Sublimation

Sublimation Printing and Materials are well established as products as is the technology that produces those vibrant and lifelike colours.

Using specially formulated inks, a print is produced on high quality paper. This print is placed in close proximity to a polyester coated substrate which can be almost anything heat resistant from glass to specially formulated fibre reinforced sheet.

The print and the substrate are bought together under heat and pressure which causes the ink which becomes gaseous to migrate into the polyester coating.

The results are stunning.

Resin & Dye Diffusion

With the development of ceramic print-head technology came the ability to transfer thin layers of resin based colour onto receptive substrates such as PVC and other inexpensive materials using the very precise application of heat and pressure

Using the same ceramic print-head technology it is now possible to use special panelled process colour ribbons to diffuse colours into a print receptive surface. This allows the accurate and simple production of detailed and photo-quality images as well as accurate colour matching.

The introduction of the Millennium Printer is the perfect application of this process. This carefully engineered printer makes badges of all shapes and sizes on a variety of print receptive materials.

As well as badge printing, Identify has also introduced MAX which is a label making machine and uses the same thermal resin printing process and also has a cutting knife which allows the user to profile the output after printing. MAX can be used to make signs, trophies and labels.

Ink-Jet Printing

Ink-Jet sounds like old technology after all we’ve all got good old Epson printers at home or in our offices ...... but Identify has just introduced a revolution!

Until now it was hard for a manufacturer to reproduce in permanent form what we could all produce on a piece of paper! The ColourJet uses special ink technology to apply full colour inks.

The ability to print directly on to many of our commonly used materials such as acrylics and other plastics and metals makes the ColourJet printer a very powerful profit making tool with hundreds of applications in thousands of businesses!
