Sublimation Process

As Easy as One, Two, Three
The sublimation process explained

One: Design

Design software, a printer with sublimation ink and heat press are all you need to begin making full colour items. WIth a scanner, digital camera or any electronic image or clip art you have the flexibility to create colourful designs and add photographs. Once you've created a design, you are ready to print.

One: Print

With an Epson Inkjet printer and sublimation cartridges, you're ready to start printing sublimation transfers. This system can produce vibrant colour that surpasses silk screening or hot stamping - perfect for logo's, photo's, clip art or other images.

One: Press

Sublimation inks are specially formulated to convert directly from a solid to a gas under heat and pressure. Whilst in a gaseous state, the inks are attracted to polyester materials. The inks actually bond with the polyester material so that a permanent, durable image is created.
