Whilst we have systems that will mark or engrave metals directly there is a huge demand for today's 'inexpensive' laser systems to do that job. Metal marking pastes and sprays can enable those lasers to produce permanent marks on many different metal surfaces.
Rigid Laminates used to be known as 'Traffolite' and actually stiil are on some drawings and with many long standing sign and label buyers. Otherwise know as Phenolics these materials are actually paper based and mixed with phenolic adhesives to form rigid layers which are bonded together. the nature of this process gives a hard surface which is ideal for engraving.
Engraving Aluminium is just that, it's a specially chosen alloy (chosen for its ease of engraving) which we have anodised to give outdoor durability (AA25 not AA15 like some!!) Available in Silver, Black, Bronze, Red, Blue and Green.
Engraving Aluminium - we're working to provide this information in the meantime please contact our sales office on 0117 953 0800 for information
This material is actually 0.5mm aluminium with a surface finish which is slightly anodised. It cannot be used out side but does provide an attractive metal finish which can be diamond 'dragged' or in some cases laser marked and used for trophy plates or similar products.
Tis is a very special material designed for laser engraving. Available in Silver and Gold this is real aluminium which has a special coating which responds to the heat of the laser and turns black to give highly detailed images.
