Laser Marking Metals LMM 6000 - Data Sheets

Here are some useful Data Sheets which will give you more background information and also refer to some other materials that are currently being review which we hope to be able to bring to you soon.

Thinning LMM - there are various recommended solvents but we have found that Methylated Spirit works adequately and is of course inexpensive and readily available. How much to use is dependant on the preferred application method with the main objective of producing a thin and even coat.

Lasering LMM - It doesn't matter which machine you have and it doesn't really matter about the power level!
Properly applied you can use a C02 laser running at 100% power and at speeds between 10% and 45-50% dependant on the power level of the tube.

We recommend that for a 35 watt laser, 20-25% speed and 100% power should be adequate, for a 75 watt laser a setting of 45-50% speed and 100% power should work well.

If you have a special application or just want to discuss laser marking - call our sales office on 0117 953 0800 or email us and we'll do our best to help
