The key to successful metal marking with LMM is the application of a thin and even coating onto the surface. Thick, and it will take much more power to 'cure' the paste. Thin, and the finish will look grey and 'washed out'.

There are three main ways to apply the paste - By brush - By spraying - By Roller.

Brush coating works well on small areas and is very economical although larger areas are harder to do.

Spraying is quick and excellent results can be obtained using an air brush - spray gun and now the new spray can which is very convenient.

Finally for large areas and convenience - roller coating is a good option as it is quick , easy and effective.
